Built 1925, renovated 1953 in the Louis XV style, former home of director Vincente Minnelli. Upon his death in 1986, ownership of the house passed to his daughter Liza, and his fourth wife Lee was allowed to live in the house. In 2000, Liza put the house up for sale, apparently without Lee's knowledge. And the sky turned legal pad yellow with lawsuits. Nine years later, Lee passed away, and the house finally passed escrow ... and then the new owners never took occupation. It has been unoccupied ever since, except apparently by squatters who have done theatrical damage to the place.
