Henry Singleton was the co-founder of Teledyne. The Singletons (of iconic Neutra house also) commissioned renowned architect Wallace Neff to design this house. Built in abstracted French-Norman inspired style (per: Gebhard). Completed in 1971 this was Wallace Neff's last major commission before his retirement.
Henry died in 1999, and in 2008, Caroline Singleton owner in trust for the Singleton Family heirs, put property on the market for $85-million.
