Little Neck is the last LIRR Port Washington branch station in Queens County, NYC, going eastbound. Little Neck Parkway crosses the line at the only at-grade railroad crossing on this branch. The entire branch was originally at grade until around 1913, when most of the trackage began to be elevated or lowered in projects thru the 1930's. The original station house was built in 1870 by the Flushing and North Side Railroad, and replaced by the current one in 1890. The old structure is now located on a local street off of Northern Boulevard.
