THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY WARANGAL(NITW)

Formerly known as the Regional Engineering College, it was set up in 1959 by Pandit Nehru. First among the REC's,now the NIT's, NITW is among the top ten engineering colleges in India.

With its world class infrastructure and high intellectual repute, NITW is India's most viable alternative to the prestigious IITs. At par with the IITs, it boasts of a top class faculty and includes amongst its alumni several famous people in the world of science and technology.

Besides an excellent academic infrastructure it has hostel facilities, a football stadium, tennis and basketball courts, and an indoor sports complex equipped with a gym, badminton courts, TT tables and a lot more.
