Healy Clean Coal Project/Plant (HCCP). 50 MW clean coal demonstration plant with a complicated history. Site was selected in 1989. Construction cost over $300 million from 1995 to 1997. Facility failed a 90 day operating test of commercial viability in 1999 and has been shut down since 2000 with various lawsuits pending.
