Nimitz High School is a public high school located in Irving, Texas. The school was established in 1968 and is named after U.S. Navy Admiral Chester W. Nimitz.

Nimitz is one of four public high schools in the Irving Independent School District and serves grades 9-12, with an approximate enrollment of 2,315 as of 2006. The school mascot is the Viking.
