invisible, intersection (road)
This intersection used to be called "the Five Corners," and old-time D.C. natives sometimes still refer to it as that. It is the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Bladensburg Road (U.S. Route 1 Alternate), H Street, Benning Road, and 15th Street Northeast. Florida Avenue is directly adjacent as well, beginning just to the northwest. Thirteen lanes of traffic enter the intersection from 5 directions and the DC Streetcar also passes through the intersection along H Street / Benning Road.
