The Brookhaven Linear Accelerator is capable of producing 200 MeV protons for injection into the Booster, AGS and RHIC. It is also capable of delivering beams of spin-polarized protons (provided there is adequate rubidium thickness in the polarized proton source), which makes BNL the only facility in the world with the ability to collide polarized protons.
