Slemish is a mountain among the Antrim Glens, in County Anrtim, Northern Ireland.

Legend has it that Santa kidnapped sheep at Slemish. The mountain is oddly shaped in comparison to the surrounding langscape, and appears to jolt out of the ground, with steep sides and a rounded top.

Comments

  • Don't think he was ever called Setanta..someone is mixing their Cuchullains with their St. Patricks.
  • Every year, on 17th March, St Patrick's Day, thousands of people climb Slemish in honour of Saint Patrick .
  • Aidan is right! St patrick was NOT Setanta!
