Anjaneya Swamy Temple is located at Kondagattu, about 35 km from Karimnagar, in Andhra Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, popularly known here as Anjaneya Swamy.
According to the local folklore the temple was built about 300 years ago by a cowherd. The present structure was built by Krishna Rao Deshmukh, about 160 years back.

Kondalaraya Fort and Bojjapotana Caves, situated nearby, are worth visiting.

I HAVE INSTANTLY PAID RS.500/- WHICH WAS THE AMOUNT FOR SASWATA POOJA ON A PARTICULAR DAY. THE DEVASTHANAM AUTHORITIES HAVE INFORMED ME SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE OF POOJA. THEREAFTER I HAVE RETIRED FROM SERVICE AND THERE WAS A CHANGE OF ADDRESS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE PRESENTLY CHARGED AMOUNT FOR SASWATA POOJA. MY PRESENT ADDRESS IS:- N.KAMALAKARARAO, FLATNO.705-A, MANJEERA HEIGHTS, LAW COLLEGE ROAD, L.B.NAGAR,HYDERABAD-500074. IF I AM INFORMED ABOUT THE DETAILS I WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE FOR SASWATA POOJA. I WILL NOT ENTERTAIN ANY PERSONAL APPROACH IN THIS MATTER. ONLY A POST CARD OR EMAIL WILL BE ENOUGH. PRANAMS TO SWAMI JAI HANUMAN.
