Small village in Mahadevpoor mandal in Kareemnagar District.
An anicient temple of Kakatiya period is located at the sangamam area of GODAVARI AND PRANAHITHA RIVERS. There are two lingas on one altar one for Yamadharma raju and next of Lord Shiv. First devotees perform puja for Yama (Linga rupam of Yama) them Shivalingam of Lord Sankara. The naturally available Vibhuthi gaddalu is one interesting phenomenon in the temple. As you dig 5 to 6 feet then Ball shaped stone of various sizes (made of sulphur rich soil) and as you break open the vibhuthi either in dry power form or by putting water it will look like gandham. This is a rare phenomenon.
