This bridge carries state route 188 over Roosevelt Lake. Prior to completion of the bridge in 1990, traffic passed over the top of the nearby Roosevelt Dam.

In 2011 a over-weight and over-sized load went over the bridge and for moment the bridge slattened out in the area of the load. youtube video is out there
