An experimental measure that was undertaken to combat growing traffic problems, these are the first modern roundabouts to be placed at a traffic interchange in Arizona. Note that the right lane must merge before crossing the 2-lane bridge, so keep left!

  • There are many more traffic circles than that!
  • These are unique, in that until recently they were the only roundabouts at a freeway interchange in Arizona
  • That is the biggest traffic mess after 4:00 P. It did not make any sense to widen happy valley road to four lanes and funnel traffic down to two lanes
  • Chicago removed all theirs many years ago due too accidents! AZ is even more backwards than I thought. But they are cheaper! AZ doesn't care about "near misses" , stress, and panic attacks. All I've seen is a bunch of talk about how people should learn how to drive in them... but if you actually drive CORRECTLY you risk getting HIT!!!! 2 days in a row for me this week. AZ needs to post DIAGRAMS in these intersections ***
  • we just had another wrong way driver kill two young girls and himself, it seems due partly to this circle, do you have any other helpful knowledge of problems with this area ?
