Triveni Sangama (or the confluence of three rivers) where Cauvery (bottom left) and Kannike (top left) join with mythical river Sujyothi. More famous Triveni Sangama (Ganga, Yamuna and the legendary Saraswati River) is near Allahabad, India. After taking a dip in the Triveni Sangama, devotees worship at the Bhagandeswara temple before proceeding to the holy place Talacauvery, which is about 8 kilometers to the west.
