Time Team Excavation Site
Time Team are hot on the trail of one of the very few places in Britain which shows evidence of human habitation dating from the early Stone Age. Surprisingly it’s down there in the grounds of a Center Parks holiday village. See you by the pool.

Welcome to Suffolk, lovely isn’t it? This is what most of England would’ve looked like 400 millennia ago to the small Stone Age population who lived here. Lots of lush vegetation, and plenty of animal life including lions, rhinos and elephants and contrary to what you see in the movies, definitely no dinosaurs.

Time Team have come here to Center Parks in Elvedon in Suffolk, to try to find out more about the Stone Age people who lived and died here 400,000 years ago. And as usual, we’ve got just three days to do it.
