Bhalukdanga is a peaceful village situated on the banks of the rivulet, Tihu (Dwihu in Bodo). The name of the rivulet has been corrupted to Tihu over the years. This village was formerly under Nalbari district of Assam (Now Asom). However, after the re-organisation of the districts of Assam, it now falls under Baksa district (BTAD). The people residing in this village are mostly agriculturists and belong to the Bodo community. A few ambitious youths of this village have now moved to cities like Guwahati and Delhi to pursue higher studies and earn their living.
