  • This place is pretty boring. There's nothing to do. If you want to live somewhere, go to Charlotte or at least Matthews. Indian Trail is for old people and rednecks.
  • I live in Indian Trail and I could agree with you when I moved here in 2004. Now in 2011 things have changed and most of the residents here we are much younger family oriented NON-redneck population. The recent census numbers have proven that the Indian Trail population has almost tripled since last census and has grown into a family community and a melting pot of re-locators from around the country. My entire neighborhood is mostly from LI, NY with some Pa, Chicago, NJ. etc... int he mix. This town has matured by leaps & bounds in the past couple of years. For example, this was a dry town when my family moved here. (No adult beverages) This kept the town from maturing with the growth of the population as restaurants did not want to open here resulting in no retail to follow, resulting in no family activity services such as Movie theatres, bowling etc... Indian Trail now converted and in two short years we have restaurants, retail is growing and the Movie theater is being built, etc... Families move here due to the excellent school district and now we have the services to accommodate the growth. We just celebrated the opening of our first park and are about to celebrate the opening of our second park which is 35 acres. CNN reports this to be in the top 10 places to live in America.
