Each day over one hundred locomotives are serviced at this facility. Locomotives enter the facility from the east where they are first washed as they move through the automated washhouse. They then enter the 'Patio' area where they are inspected. Light defects are noted and repaired. Firemen & Oilers then move the locomotive to the fueling pads where they are fueled and their gearcases are lubed. If no major defects were noted on the Patio, they are then pulled off the fueling pads and built into outbound consists to the west of the facility.
