Beautiful Victorian restaurant with ornate detailing offers a grand setting for buffeteria dining. It originally was built in 1955 as the Red Wagon Inn, a table service restaurant leased and operated by Swift & Company. In the mid-1960s Disney took over the restaurant and remodeled it into Plaza Inn, reopening it in 1965.

  • Despite the crowds, inevitable screaming kids, and the harried, exhausted-looking staff, this actually is one of the better places to eat in the Park. They used to do a pretty good roast chicken (haven't been a few years) and, for what you get, the prices are no worse than any other sit-down place in DL (and a lot more reasonable than some, eg. the Blue Bayou), plus the interior decor is really quite attractive, if you take the time to look around. And they move a lot of people through, so you usually don't have to wait too long, even during crowded times.
