Payload Processing Facility at Kodiak Launch Complex

This facility provides a class 100,000 clean facility for the checkout and fueling of spacecraft and supports the staging, processing, integration, inspection, and encapsulation of payloads.
The overall facility is approximately 10,570 ft2 and is designed to provide for future expansion of both high bay and low bay space.

It is geographically located so that hazardous operations do not impact operations on other areas of the launch complex (LCC, IPF, ...). The PPF lies approximately 0.8 miles from the LCC and 1.1 miles from LP-l. The PPF provides high bay work space for space craft processing and encapsulation in a clean work area (CWA). Adjacent low bay space provides supporting functions.
