The hut was built at 1,523 m a.s.l. in Kalofer Mountain, which is a part of the Central Balkan Mountains. It is a two-storey building with 34 places with a dinning room where tourists can order food and drinks.
The hut is a point of the European hiking route E3 (Kom - Emine).
