Vasil Levski Hut

The hut is built in 1925 and it is the first hut in Balkan Mountains (third in the country preceded by Skakavitsa Hut in Rila and “Aleko” Hut in Vitosha). The Vasil Levski Hut is situated at 1,450 m above the sea level, in Golyamata Gyurla Area, a place where the two initial tributaries of Stara Reka (river) flows into each other.
It is a solid two storey building with total capacity of 74 beds allocated in rooms with 2, 4 beds and more beds. The WCs are shared. There is also a bath.
The building is electrified and water supplied. Solid fuel stoves heat it.
The hut disposes of tourist kitchen and equipment, dining room with fireplace and a small shop.
The hut is a point of the European hiking route E3 (Kom - Emine).
