Formerly known as Magic Eye Theater, it hosted 3D presentations such as "Magic Journeys" (1984-1986), "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" (1998-2010), and "Captain EO" (1986-1997) and its recent Tribute revival (2010-2014). It is now currently being used for special limited time presentations, such as previews to "Guardians of the Galaxy" (Summer 2014), "Big Hero 6" (Fall 2014) and "Tomorrowland" (Summer 2015). It is currently screening "Star Wars: Path of the Jedi" (Winter 2015) as part of "Seasons of the Force" special event.

After being the theatre showing the "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" (HIStA) show for many years, the declining venue was converted into Captain EO Tribute, a slightly modified version of the original Captain EO starring Michael Jackson, which HIStA replaced.

The line for Space Mountain snakes its way across the roof of this building.

  • Bring back Captain EO!
  • You'll have to petition Michael Jackson's estate for that.
  • Didn't they already bring it back? I heard it was to pay respect for Michael Jackson's passing.
  • Captain EO has returned to Disneyland for a limited time. It reopened in Febuary 2010.
  • They should put in a shooting 4D motion simulator ride called Invasion! An ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, based on the original DisneyQuest game of the same name.
