  • This place used to be pure magic when I was a kid. Now, it features tragic prices for less food than what you get for half the price at Cafe Orleans around the corner - plus, the Cafe Orleans offers the cheese Monte Cristo, not just the ham-filled variety. The wedge salad is particularly ridiculous, consisting of a quarter of a head of iceberg lettuce accompanied by a salad dressing urn. Horrid service on my birthday two years ago - the servers took forever just to bring the water, and even though we had made special arrangements, I didn't get my birthday surprise. Yeah, I know, boo-hoo. I'm over it and never eating there again until the menu, prices, and lousy service change.
