Baran Dam. Near Bannu, N.W.F.P.
On Kurram River. Baaraan Means Rain and this dam is mainly Filled with Rain Collected Water. As seen in the picture, 3 Sides are are Mountain and the wall constructed on the fouth side.

  • For God's Sake. To my best knowledge, Baran Dam is not on River Kurram. It is on Baran Nullah, commonly known as LORA. On River Kurram, Irrigation System is built but the two are co located please.
