"Universiada" Hall (Sofia)

The "Universiada" Hall is one of Sofia's architectural landmarks. Built in 1961, its name is associated with Sofia's hosting of the World Student Summer Games "Universiade 61". The project of the Universiade sports hall was made by the architects Al. Barov, D. Vladishki, Iv. Tatarov, Iv. Ivanchev and others.
The "Universiada" Hall can easily gather under its roof about 3,000 people.
