Austin's showpiece City Hall, built of recycled construction materials, and creating a low environmental impact, it houses the Mayor's office and City Council chambers. Deconstructivist in style, its facade is composed of Texas limestone and copper. It also is home to "the People's Gallery, a unique rotating art gallery by local artists that changes each year.
There are 369 doors in the building, all made of pecan wood.
