Site of the gargantuan railway terminal serving trains going south. The building survived the war largely intact, only losing its curved roof, but was demolished in the 1950's depite protests because its location near the border between East and West made it useless for train traffic.
The front entrance was allowed to remain as a ruin and the land lay empty for decades, befre being turned into a park.
