Built: 1891–99.

Originally called the ‘New Physical Laboratory’ and later the South Building, this was created to house a new scientific department of the Royal Observatory for the measurement of stars.

Today it houses the Weller Astronomy Galleries, interactive galleries that help to unravel the mysteries of the universe.
