The Rexford or Upper Mohawk River Aqueduct Was constructed in 1842 to replace the 1828 Rexford Aqueduct. It's 14 masonry arches and piers supported a towpath and wooden canal trunk respectively. Three of the arches still stand, one on the north side of the river and two on the south.
