St.Matthias' Church (London)

United Kingdom / England / Westham / London / Woodtock Terrace
community centre / hall, Grade II* Listed (UK), deconsecrated church

Now deconsecrated and used as a parish hall and community centre, this is the only church remaining in London built during the interregnum and was later the chapel of the East India Company whose Almshouses stood just to the south (the site is now covered by the Coroner's Court and mortuary).
Most of the monuments within are damaged (the place was derilict for years) but many still retain hints of history - a pair of battleships, for instance).
The building is a grade II* listed building.
