The Floridan Palace Hotel, in Downtown Tampa, Florida, was designed by G.A. Miller and Francis J. Kennard and was constructed from 1926 to 1927 at a cost of $1,600,000. At the time of its opening, it has 316 guest rooms. With 19 floors and a height of 204 ft (62 m), the Hotel Floridan was the tallest building in Tampa until 1966. The Hotel Floridan was initially popular into the 1950s, but it started declining soon after and, after 1966, was used exclusively for long-term renters, and eventually closed in 1989.

The Floridan was restored from August 2005 to July 2012 by developer Antonios Markopoulos. The hotel now has 213 guest rooms (including 15 suites and two penthouses), the Crystal Dining Room, the Sapphire Lounge, and a ballroom. A pool and spa may be added in the future.

The Hotel Floridan was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 12, 1996.
