  • Davidson River Campground is an excellent central point for exploring the eastern edge of the Pisgah. Level campsites with moderate to extreme privacy. Bathhouses and well water close by most sites, no electricity. Civilization (Brevard, NC) is close by for those things you forgot to bring or the necessary Starbucks run. Recommend Sliding Rock, Cradle of Forestry Center, numerous falls, hiking trails a few climbing areas.
