Looking Glass Rock

Looking Glass Rock is located within Pisgah National Forest and rises 3969 ft above sea level. Excellent rock climbing here. It is a moderate/strenuous trail climbing 1700 ft over 3.1 miles to its peak where panoramic views can be seen.

  • I hiked up to the top of this once when it was snowing and fell off of the top, thankfully my friend was there and grabbed my arm before I fell to my death... oh and the base of the mountain is a great spot for rock climbing! Definatley check it out if you're into the sport!
