Soldiers & Sailors National Military Museum & Memorial is one of the country's largest museums dedicated to honoring & remembering our Veterans. We have exhibits that span from the Civil War to present day conflicts that tell the stories of ordinary citizens called upon to do extraordinary duties for the United States of America. It was designed by Henry Hornbostel of the firm of Palmer & Hornbostel.

Also the site for shooting the famous scene from Silence of the Lambs where Hannibal Lecter is held in a cage.
