The Parsteiner Lake is a 1003 acre lake in Brandenburg. It belongs to the biosphere reserve Schorfheide-Chorin and consists of a main pool, Nebenbecken and several bays. The average water depth in the main pool is about 10 feet, the maximum is reached 31 meters. The superficial catchment area covers 130.5 km2 and consists of 78% rolling farmland.
