This is a strange area. So many stories about this rumassala hill.
According to indian legends RAMAYANAYA.In king Ravan king Ram War(anciant war between india and sri lanka)When Hanumantha or hanuman god was karring himalaya mountain(Everest mountain) a small part dropped near galle. this part named as rumassala hill.
But others argive that this was made from an astroyd from a different plannet. coz the bio divercity is differnt in this mountain. So many identical plants in this area. A place for botanical researches.
