It's a rocky hill, in fact a large single rock, on which there is a Buddhist Temple. You'll have a spectacular view all around: paddy fields, villages, and mountains. I recommend you visit the place in morning as the rock becomes hot by the afternoon. You can take either of two routes from Mawanella in Colombo – Kandy A1 Road: Hemmathagama or Aranayake.
