Hall Caine Airport was the first airfield on the Isle of Man, It was used by the RAF and served the Island as a Chartered Airfield. But after WW2 it fell into disuse as there was now three good concrete airfield to chose from, so Ronaldsway became the main airfield as it is closest to the capital. The airfield was used by the Gliding club in the 1990s but they relocated to Andreas airfield.
