  Chor Minar. A protected monument of the Archaelogical Society of India. It is believed that the rulers of Delhi used this to place the beheaded heads of dacoits. This served as a deterrent and warning to the public.

  It was Allaudin Khilji who used to display the heads of executed brigands here, in order to instill the fear of death in the criminals. Some say the place is haunted.
