கருங்குளம்

In Archaeological point of view, this place has a glorious past and it is located on the bank of the river Tamirabarani. It is assumed that, in ancient times, a civilised habitation was well flourished here. Some monuments like Urns and small mud vessels were found near the river Tamirabarani and they are supportive evidences for the civilisation. Currently this village is having all the general amenities like Govt.Hr.Sec School, Govt Hospitals, so and so on. It's a pleasant and cultural village of people from most of the communities.
