  • really, I had seen and visited many historical forts and palaces in North India. But this Pratapgad Fort is worth its soil. The gigantic hill top abodes the fort. Apart from this fort, the magnificent sight from this point is the scenic and beauty of Western Ghats. It mesmerizes anybody; and provocates one's endurism to reach hill tops. One should visit this famous and hillock fort to see how the Kings of our Nation fought their enemies to safeguard our nation and culture. vasudev konda valsad gujarat

  • West Point is a college in New York, USA that gives formal training to Army officers of America, Including Generals. Best historical wars of the world are taught to them. Two Indian historical wars are taught to them. One is Palked war - between Shrimant Bajirao (Thorale) and Nizam - Ul- Haq, that was fought on JUST IN TIME principles by Bajirao. Second is Pratapgad war Between Mahaj and Afzalkhan. This was was more a MIND GAME. Shivaji maharaj could fool Afzal, compelled him to come to Jawli - a dense forest area and killed him on 8th, November 1656...Only shrewd generals can bring enemy at a place they want...Shivaji maharaj was a very diplomatic and great strategist, could do this.
