local villagers call this place as mahimandan gadh,
requires max.30min to go to top from the base at village shindi
a small temple,3 ancient water tanks carved in solid rock can be seen. A beautiful trek.

  • There were ruins of ancient temple and statues of god. Shindi boys created new shed as temple and kept the statues (murti). you can find 5 to 6 caves carved in the solid rock on the surface of the fort. Some designs, shivlinga, ganesh murti carved therein are visible. One of the cave has steps, but all caves are full of water. I hereby appeal boys of Shindi "Let us clean these caves".
