The Apollo Theater is one of the most famous music halls in the United States, designed c. 1913 by George Keister as the Hurtig & Seamon's New Burlesque Theater. The exterior was altered in 1934 to a more Art Deco style. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The interior and exterior was used as a filming location for S3E8 of the Amazon Prime series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel". The theater has also hosted several versions of a tv show titled "Showtime at the Apollo"
