former Railway Bridge Piers (Glasgow)

The site of the original bridge to Central Station, built in 1879. It was closed in 1966 and partially demolished when the throat into the station was reconfigured and resignalled to use the newer 1905 bridge.

The north pier has now been incorporated into a small jetty.
