Formerly the Sacramento Northern Railway owned this property, then Western Pacific, then Union Pacific, then Yolo Shortline til 2003. Then the Yolo Shortline was merged into the Sierra Northern Railway.

This is also where the Sacramento RiverTrain (www.sacramentorivertrain.com) tourist ride departs from; including passage over the mile-and-a-half long Fremont Trestle (built 1912).
