lake, interesting place

According to local legend, there once stood a small town called Oakville in this spot. The town had a natural spring. A hog farmer placed his hogs in a pen at the location of the spring. The Hogs managed to clog up the spring. This somehow resulted in the entire town sinking into the ground. And, now it is a pond. Hence the name Oakville Pond. I doubt the legend is true, but it is an interesting story nonetheless.
