MacDade Plaza is a multi-building outdoor shopping center located in Holmes, Pennsylvania, a section of Ridley Township.
The shopping center features a mixture of large and small businesses, with very few chain retailers represented. Among the chains include DollarLand stores and Goodwill fashions. Other services within the plaza include a military recruitment center, karate school, medical offices, and liquor retailer.
On the property's westernmost side lie the adjacent businesses of Heritage Ballrooms and Barnaby's of America, an upscale rental hall and casual dining restaurant and bar, respectively.
The rear of the property houses MacDade Bowl, one of very few bowling alleys in southern Delaware County.
Slowly but steadily growing throughout the 1980s, the plaza attracted a number of retailers quickly with the much-publicized opening of (now-former) tenant Al Rubin Appliances, a locally owned and operated appliance outlet that, at the time, possessed the largest retail space in the plaza. Currently, Goodwill fashions occupies the space.
In the 2000s, a massage service in the center was exposed as a front for prostitution, with several employees coming under a much-publicized arrest.
