Important area of heathland near Haslemere. Owned by the National Trust and bordering Bramshott Common, which is MoD land but accessible 24/7. History includes hammer ponds and use by Canadian troops during WWII - the Canadian theme still runs through nearby Liphook and the parish church of St Marys in Bramshott. Excellent views from the higher ground of South Downs as well as the tracking station radomes (radar domes, a.k.a. 'golf balls') at RAF Oakhangar.
