The only IKEA in Houston. It opened in 2004, to replace the older IKEA here (which, interestingly, was originally a STØR, the short-lived IKEA knockoff) in front of it. It renovated in 2010. The store is two levels, and like all IKEA stores features a showroom area and a pick-up area. Sometime around 2013, it added lots and lots of solar panels to the roof.
